Stimulation of Ovulation

From the woman’s ovaries, the intention is to remove all mature eggs formed with ovarian stimulation using different medication protocols. Collecting many eggs increases the likelihood that one of them will be fertilised, returned to the uterus, and develop into a healthy child. The stimulation phase involves the injection of medications for 8-14 days, to induce the ovaries to produce many matured eggs.
